Customer review for BBC History Magazine

I left school with no interest whatsoever in the subject of history, but suddenly, when I turned 35, I became intensely interested in it! But where to start to learn? This is where the BBC History magazine came in. I read it religiously from cover to cover every month, not understanding some articles at all, but I persevered and got to grips with the basics and now I'm taking my second adult education history course. this mag provides short ?tasters? rather than long, in depth articles on various subjects, usually linked in with a new book that?s out. it gives you the opportunity to see which subjects you feel an affinity with and then you can go off and find some more reading matter. i do love the crossword too!
