Not sure how you can say 12 issues for about £15 is "rather expensive". That's about £1.20 an issue! I think it stacks up really well against mags you find in WH Smith. They have Lynne Truss as a columnist too, which is worth the money alone.

The financial pages are written by Paul Lewis and I don't know any better ones. My wife likes the magazine as much as I do, it doesn't seem weighted towards women as so many do. Good intelligent interesting articles. I recommend it.

Saga is a fabulous magazine. It somehow manages to cover a very wide range of subjects in a way that is never tedious, yet avoids being superficial. Last but not least, it is excellent value.
