How do I find the magazine I want?

There are 3 easy ways to find the magazine you want:

  1. Use our site search - just type in the name of magazine you wish to find or a word describing its contents
  2. Click our A-Z selection which lists all titles on the site
  3. Use the categories menu.


When will I get my first issue?

Once your order has been processed by the publisher it can take between 4 and 8 weeks for your first issues to arrive. In some cases such as for National Geographic your first issue may take up to 12 weeks to arrive (although this is usually shorter). The delivery date is determined by the date you place your order and by the print date of your chosen magazine. You will receive more information about the start of your subscription from the publisher of your selected title once your order has been processed. If you're ordering a gift subscription for Christmas you can order at any time, and then choose to have the first issue delivered on the next available issue after Christmas by ticking the "Is this a gift" box in the basket.



How do I know if my order has been declined or accepted?

Once your order has been accepted by the publisher you will receive a welcome letter or email confirming your subscription (up to a maximum of 2 weeks after placing your order). If there is a problem with your order for any reason (e.g. incorrect payment details) you will be notified by a telephone, letter or email from the publisher.



Can I place an order by telephone?

Yes, you can call our sales team on 0844 826 7812. Lines are open 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday (except bank holidays).



Can I order magazines to be delivered outside the UK?

Many titles have overseas subscription rates. Select the country where the magazine is to be delivered and the price will appear for your chosen country then continue to purchase as usual. You will notice the picture of the flag next to the prices changes to that of the country you have selected. Please note: Not all magazines have overseas subscription rates.



What is the difference between a quarterly, biannual or annual subscription?

Quarterly

Common with Direct Debit prices only.
Payment is taken on a quarterly (3 month) basis.*

Biannual

Half year (6 months) subscription*. For Direct Debit subscriptions payment will taken approx every 6 months.

Annual

Full year (12 month) subscription.*


*Number of issues varies based on what titles you choose.



Who processes the payment for my order?

Orders are dispatched to the publishers of the magazine you have ordered, who then process payment and are responsible for the delivery of your title. The Magazine Group does not process any payments or fulfil subscription copies. Who do I contact about non delivery of my free gift?

If you do not receive your gift within 14 days of purchasing your order then please contact the publisher.



Do you do student/bulk discounts?

We do not offer any student or bulk discounts.



What If I don't receive a confirmation/acknowledgement email?

If you do not receive an acknowledgement email within 12 hours of ordering from Magazine Group then please contact our customer service team who will be happy to assist and locate your order.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro credit and debit card payments. Some magazines also offer a direct debit payment option. We do not accept cheques, postal orders or invoices.



What is Direct Debit?

If you pay for your subscription by Direct Debit you are automatically protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. A copy of this should be sent to you by the publisher of the magazine/s you have selected along with the details of the date of the first direct debit from your account and the frequency and amount of subsequent payments. You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank and/or the publisher.

In some cases, publishers have a minimum subscription period during which you may not be able to cancel your Direct Debit. This will be stated on the magazine page.



How secure are my payment details?

This site use 128 bit SSL encryption to ensure purchases are safe and secure at all times.



Policies


Dispatch & Delivery

  1. Your subscription(s) will start with the next available issue. During Christmas some titles allow for dispatch for the first issue of gift subscriptions to be delayed until the New Year.
  2. An acknowledgement email will be sent to you, the subscription purchaser, within 12 hours of the subscription(s) being ordered by Direct Magazines.
  3. A second communication will be sent to the subscription purchaser when the subscription order has been processed by the publisher of the magazine ordered. This communication, which may be by email or post, will confirm contact details for the publisher regarding your subscription(s), the starting issue of the subscription(s), the expected despatch date of the first issue and billing or direct debit information.
  4. This website is operated by ThreePM ltd who pass your orders and payment details to the publisher of your selected magazine/s. Whilst we will always endeavour to answer customer queries, the magazine that you order will always be fulfilled by the publisher of that magazine. We therefore recommend that you deal directly with the publisher about queries relating to your magazine subscription. Please note, the magazine covers and pictures of gifts used on this site are for illustrative purposes only.

Terms & Conditions

  1. This website is operated by ThreePM ltd who pass your orders and payment details to the publisher of your selected magazine/s for processing. Although we will endeavour to answer customer queries, the magazine that you order will always be charged and fulfilled by the publisher of that magazine. You should therefore deal directly with the publisher about queries relating to your magazine subscription. Contact details for the publisher of your magazine can be found in your order confirmation email.
  2. An acknowledgement email will be sent to you, the subscription purchaser, within 12 hours of the subscription(s) being ordered by Magazine Group. A second communication will be sent to the subscription purchaser when the subscription order has been entered by the publisher of the magazine ordered. This communication, which may be by email or post, will confirm contact details for the publisher regarding your subscription(s), the starting issue of the subscription(s) and the expected despatch date of the first issue.
  3. Your subscription(s) will start with the next available issue execept for Christmas gift subscriptions, some of which allow for dispatch of the first issue to be delayed until the New Year. It can take up to 12 weeks for delivery of your first magazine although in most cases it will be sooner but this will be confirmed in the Welcome letter you receive from the publisher of your selected magazine(s). The delivery date is determined by the date that you order, the print date of the next available issue and whether the title is published in the UK or overseas.
  4. Except where stated on the magazine page, the subscription can be cancelled at any time during its term and a refund of any unmailed issues will be made by the Publisher of the magazine/s. As the Magazine Group does not take any payments directly from customers it is not liable for any refunds. Note that any magazines that stipulate a minimum subscription period will offer no refunds for subscriptions cancelled during this time.
  5. The selected magazine/s cannot be exchanged for any other magazines through the website.

  8. Any gifts offered are subject to availability. Where magazines offer a gift with purchase every effort will be made to supply the gift illustrated, but the publisher reserves the right to provide an alternative if they are unable to supply the original gift for whatever reason. Gifts are limited to one per household.
  9. The Magazine Group reserves the right to restrict access or refuse orders to anyone who in its opinion is abusing offers on the site. Such behaviour would include (but is not restricted to) repeated cancellations of direct debit offers and repeated cancellation of subscriptions before expiry of the full term. In such cases The Magazine Group will write to you to request you desist from further use of the site. In the case of any orders placed subsequent to this request, the customer shall be liable for the full annual subscription price of the magazine regardless of any cancellation of the subscription. The customer shall also be liable for all costs of The Magazine Group or the publisher in fulfilling the order and ensuring payment of the full subscription term.
  10. The Magazine Group reserves the right to cancel any order before it has been passed to the publisher for processing.
  11. Your personal information will be used as set out in our Privacy Notice. Submitting your details indicates your consent, until you choose otherwise, that we and our partners may contact you about products and services that will be of relevance to you via, direct mail, phone, e-mail and SMS. You can opt-out at ANY time via the web or email.
  12. Cashback commissions. 3PM reserve the right to cancel "cashback" and "points" commissions with affiliates for any customers who, in its sole opinion, it feels are abusing this facility. Certain titles are excluded from cashback and points sites; an up to date list may be obtained from 3PM on request.

PPC Bidding Policy: ThreePM and The Magazine Group have a strict PPC policy. Affiliates are prohibited from linking PPC ads directly to the www.magazine-group.co.uk domain and are prohibited from bidding on certain keywords, variations of these keywords, misspellings or negative keywords. Please check this list of restricted keywords before commencing a PPC campaign. We update this list regularly.

Any orders that come via PPC ads that contain these keywords will not be liable for commission. Orders may be processed, but any commissions will be cancelled with the affiliate.

ThreePM does not enter into any correspondence regarding non-payment or the cancellation of commission.

Cash Back Policy

ThreePM and The Magazine Group pays commission to sites in its affiliate programme. Some of these sites repay some or all of this commission to customers; these are known as cashback sites. ThreePM does not pay commission to cashback sites on a selection of magazines and books, contact us here for an up-to date list or please check the downloadable list of titles excluded from cashback sites regularly.

Any orders that come via cashback sites that contain these magazines will not be liable for commission. Orders may be processed, but any commissions will be cancelled with the affiliate.

ThreePM does not enter into any correspondence regarding non-payment of cashback or the cancellation of commission.

ThreePM does not warrant the bona fides of any site that links to the Magazine Group or its partner sites and is not responsible in any way for these sites. Customers are recommended to make their own enquiries into the legitimacy or otherwise of such sites.

Delivery, Refund & Exchange


Where is my magazine?

  • It can take up to 12 weeks for delivery of your first magazine but this will be confirmed in the welcome letter you receive from the publisher of your selected magazine(s). The delivery date is determined by the date that you order, the print date of the next available issue and whether the title is published in the UK or overseas.
  • If you have not received your magazine within this time please contact the publisher, their contact details can be found in your order confirmation email.
  • If you don't have your order confirmation email, you can search for the telephone number of your magazine here.



What is the contact telephone number for the magazine I have choosen?

  • The phone numbers for all the magazines are listed in our searchable telephone directory.
  • The contact details of the publisher can also be found on your order confirmation email.



How do I cancel my subscription?

Except where stated on the magazine page, the subscription can be cancelled at any time during its term and a refund of any unmailed issues will be made by the Publisher of the magazine/s you purchased and not by Magazine Group. Note that any magazines that stipulate a minimum subscription period will offer no refunds for subscriptions cancelled during this time.

All cancellation requests must be made direct to the publisher, whose contact details can be found on your order confirmation email. If you don't have your order confirmation email search the magazine telephone directory here.



Can I exchange my magazine?

The selected magazine(s) cannot be exchanged for any other magazines through this website.



Who do I contact about non-delivery of my free gift?

What do I do if my magazine is damaged?

If you have received your magazine and it is damaged please contact the publisher.

How do I renew my subscription?

The publisher of the magazine you have ordered should contact you before the subscription expiry date an invitation to renew. You can also renew subscriptions via the Magazine Group. Renewing your subscriptions at Magazine Group is as extremely easy. Simply select the magazine you wish to renew, add it to your shopping basket then proceed to the checkout.



How do I change my address/contact details?

You can change your contact details over the phone; find the telephone number of your magazine here.



How do I unsubscribe from marketing emails?

Contact us here if you want to unsubscribe from our marketing communications. Alll our marketing emails also contain an unsubscribe link that will remove you from our lists.
